Make sure you try a powerful quad bike!

It was the first time but definitely not the last

As a normal human, I was nervous to ride it for the first time. It seemed like it would be easy but when I saw a giant bike right in front of me, I wasn’t sure if I’d like to do it. But then, you won’t be wanting to stop once you ride and feel the power.

Preparation before you’re going crazy!

I was going to do quad bike riding with my friends. We chose a company based in Ubud called Kuber Bali ATV.

We booked via Krisna Tours Bali as they have a special price on it. Once we made a booking (which is so easy to get confirmed by them) and on the day they picked us up from our office in the morning  as a meeting point. We met a friendly driver to take us to the location.

When we arrived, they welcomed us with a unique drink (I think it was a traditional drink and the taste was great!). After we finished the drink it was time to gear  up and go through the pre-ride safety briefing and some practice training on a nice easy track next to the camp supervised by our guide.

And now we were ready to enjoy the ride on the dirty and muddy areas!

What to expect

It doesn’t take long to feel comfortable with the bike.

It’s an exciting and different way to enjoy Bali’s bush. Ride and explore the wonderlands of farms, rivers, jungles and waterfalls on your choice of a 1 or a 2 hour guided tour!

We absolutely loved the thrill of cruising through beautiful scenic off-road tracks and also going full throttle around shallow rivers, past waterfalls and across muddier sections. Our guides were very thorough in making sure we were safely getting up and down the trickier bits.

We were covered in mud after 2 hours! But the mud actually added to the experience. Then back to the camp for refreshments and enjoy yummy Nasi Goreng or Mie Goreng to fill our hungry bellies for lunch. And yeah, it was included!

After that our driver was waiting for us, smiling as always, and took us back to our office.

Heaps of fun experience

The quad bikes were well maintained and rider safety was a priority.

I would definitely recommend it to anyone who would want to try something new and a little out of their comfort zone. Because it was exhilaratingly!
