Fast Boat From Padang Bai

If you are looking for a shorter route, Padang Bai is commonplace to look for fast boasts to Gili Island. Compared to Amed, Padang Bai is much easier to reach from Kuta by shuttle busses. This should be easier and much affordable for tourists on a budget. Even though it is easier, but you need to be prepared for a longer travel time of 1.5 hours. However, you do not need to worry about fast boat options because there are more boats on Padang Bai and most have longer operation times.

Even though it is cheaper than most of fast boats but public ferry can take up to five hours of travel time to Lombok only. From Lombok, you will need to take another public ferry to Gili Island that takes up to two hours of travel time. Sure it is a long and tough journey, but if the price is your most consideration then do not hesitate to take the public ferry.

Private sailing may not be the most practical transportation option, but if you want to travel in style, then this is for you. It is indeed a stylish way of vacation and surely not the affordable one.
